Michael Bell, CSCS

Mike a native of Denver, Colorado became passionate about exercise and strength training at a young age when his uncle took him to his first workout at the age of 10. Since then he has gone to help other reach their fitness goals. Mike received his BS in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska Kearney in 2005. He has over sixteen years of professional strength and conditioning experience.

Six years as a Strength Coach for the University of Nebraska Kearney. During this time he was strength and conditioning coach for a variety of teams, single sex and co-ed, including the 2008 National Championship wrestling team. As well as 7 individual champions in wrestling (6) and, track and field (1).

He moved to Florida to intern for the Toronto Blue Jays organization in Dunedin for the 2008 and 2009 seasons as a strength and conditioning coach. Mike worked spring training camp and then was the sole strength coach for a minor league team. He was selected to create a speed and quickness program for the players in his second year with the Blue Jays organization.

After working for the Blue Jays organization he worked as a personal trainer at a general fitness gym for 2 years. Where he created and lead workouts to fit each individual’s fitness desires from weight loss to sports performance.

He then helped open up a more athletic based type of training Facility (D1) as Head strength coach. Mike worked with youth and professional athletes and general fitness during his 4 years there.

In 2016 Mike established Balanced Universal Real-life Strength Training (BURST). He has always believed in making exercising an enjoyable experience; whether it’s just getting back in shape or taking your physical abilities to the next level. Mike will push you but won’t run you into the ground to get the results you desire. Anybody can make a “Hard” workout, Mike can make your individualized workout enjoyable to keep you on track to meet your fitness goals.
